Supporting creators well
How to be the kind of buyer creators value: paying fairly, respecting boundaries, never leaking, leaving useful reviews, and tipping well.
Buy the work
The most direct support is the simplest: buy clips at the listed price. Creators on VestaVids set their own prices and decide how they are paid. Paying through their own links sends every dollar to them; credits are faster and reach them at 75 cents on the dollar. If you want to help most, pay direct where it is offered, and buy bundles when you like a series.
Follow creators whose work you enjoy and favorite items you plan to return to. Follows tell a creator their work is landing and give you their releases without checking back.
Respect boundaries
Creators publish what they offer and what they do not. Take that at face value. Do not ask for things outside their limits, do not push after a no, and do not ask for personal information: real names, locations, other platforms they have not chosen to share, or details of their life outside the work. The persona you see is the offer; the person behind it is not.
If a creator requires credits per message, that is their choice about their time. Pay it or do not message.
Never leak
Everything you buy is for your private viewing. Sharing a clip, uploading it anywhere, sending it to a friend, posting a frame without the creator's permission: all of it is leaking, and it damages the person you claim to support. Leaked clips cost creators sales, force them to spend time on takedown notices, and can expose them to harassment. Copyright stays with the creator; buying a copy does not transfer it.
If you come across a creator's work on a site that should not have it, tell the creator privately with the link. Do not post about it publicly.
Communicate, review and tip like an adult
Be polite in messages. Say thank you when a custom arrives. If there is a problem with a purchase, describe it specifically and give the creator a chance to fix it before leaving a review or reporting. Do not send unsolicited explicit messages or images; the store is their workplace.
A good review says what the clip was and what worked, in a sentence or two, without spoilers or anything that identifies the creator beyond their store. Reviews help other buyers decide and tell the creator what to make more of. Critical reviews are fine when they are fair and about the work. Reviews used to punish a creator for declining a request are not fair and may be reported; reports are read by a person.
If a creator has earned more than the price, tip. Many list a way to send a tip through their payment links, and buying a second clip or a set you had not planned on is a tip in its own right. Add a note saying what you appreciated. For most creators, that note is worth nearly as much as the money.
